BGCWC Clubs provide a fun, safe and constructive environment for kids and teens during out-of-school hours. Boys & Girls Clubs are staffed by passionate professionals.

Our Impact

Nationwide, 87% of Club kids graduate from high school, compared to the average of 66%. 25% of Club kids graduate from college, compared to the national average of 16%.

Our Mission

At Boys and Girls Club of Washington County, it is our mission to enable all young people, especially those who need us most, to reach their full potential as productive, caring, and responsible citizens.

To help Club members achieve academic and professional success, Club programming provides opportunities to become proficient in basic educational disciplines and apply learning to everyday situations.

These programs develop young people’s capacity to engage in positive behaviors that nurture their own well-being, set personal goals and live successfully as self-sufficient adults.

Character & Leadership

Our members learn to support and influence their Club and community, sustain meaningful relationships with others, develop a positive self-image, and respect the cultural identities of themselves and others.

Our Club leadership programs allow members to practice and improve their decision-making skills. The nationally chartered Torch Club and Keystone Club are complemented by Club programs developed to support specific membership needs.
